  • You have the option to choose between two full days (two sessions per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon) or four half days (one session per day, available in the morning, afternoon, or evening).
  • Each participant who attends 100% of the course will receive a certificate for completing the “Older Person Mental Health First Aid” Course. This certificate is effective for three years from the date of issue.
  • The Mental Health Association of Hong Kong encourages Mental Health First Aiders to keep their knowledge and skills up to date. We plan to introduce a half day refresher course in 2029, and it will be available to all MHFA certificate holders, except for those who have completed the “teen MHFA” course. Upon completion of the refresher course, participants will be issued a new certificate valid for another three years.
  • Each participant will receive a set of “Older Person Standard Mental Health First Aid” Manuals.
